Dr. Inkyung Santiago, MD

Dr. Inkyung Santiago grew up in South Korea and moved with her family to south Alabama as a teenager. She attended Boston University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. She was the recipient of a Health Professional Scholarship through the US Air Force and attended medical school at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine and graduated in 2008. She completed her internship and residency at the Wright Patterson Air Force Internal Medicine Program in Dayton, Ohio, in 2011.  She was board certified in Internal Medicine in 2011. 

After residency, she was stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years where she worked as a physician in both US Air Force and Navy facilities.  She returned to Alabama to join Florence Medical Associates in Fall 2015.

Dr. Inkyung Santiago is married to Dr. Eric Santiago, who is also a physician at Florence Medical Associates. They have three children. Dr. Santiago loves growing beautiful flowers and enjoys watching her kids play tennis, soccer and basketball. She also enjoys reading and listening to music in her free time.
