Mrs. Lauren Tharp is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from the University of North Alabama and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honors. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in family practice, from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has a background in critical care nursing.

Mrs. Tharp’s favorite part of being a primary care provider is building relationships with her patients. Her clinical interests include weight management, hypertension, and acute illnesses.

Mrs. Tharp is married to Patrick Tharp of Tharptown. They are raising a son and daughter. She enjoys time with her family, antiques, reading, and raising cattle.
